DSC 2009: A Meeting on the Future of Statistical Computing

Copenhagen, July 13 - 14, 2009

 

The sixth international workshop on Directions in Statistical Computing (DSC 2009) will take place at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.  This conference started out as a meeting of the core R Project members and other developers in R, but has since broadened its scope to statistical computing in general.

 

Unlike the larger UseR! conference, DSC focuses more on the development of statistical computing platforms, rather than simply the application of statistical computing tools.  This makes it very focused and collegial affair, not least because a high proportion of the attendees also give presentations.  REvolution Computing is a sponsor of this event and will be there to meet with you.
